Keith Smith II joined the Stevenson staff prior to the 2017 season.  He is working with the inside linebackers.

Smith is a 2016 graduate of Frostburg State with a degree in Social Sciences-Sociology and Political Science with a minor in Coaching.  In four years as a Bobcat (2011-14), Smith played in 38 games, starting 33, and finished with 243 career tackles, a pair of interceptions and 24 pass breakups.  He was a two-year defensive captain and a two-time FSU "Athlete of the Week".

After his senior season, Smith played professionally in the Germany Football League, first with the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates in 2015 and the Ravensburg Razorbacks as a mid-season pickup in 2016.  With Elmshorn, Smith had 106 tackles in 14 games and four interceptions while also racking up 714 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns.  In six games in 2016 he had 26 tackles, 576 all-purpose yards and nine TDs.

Smith is currently a teacher with Anne Arundel County Public Schools and has been coaching track at Old Mill High School, winning a county and regional championship in 2015 and 2016.
