Spalik joins the Mustang coaching staff for the 2017 season, serving as the team's wide receivers coach. He comes to Stevenson after three seasons as the wide receivers coach with his alma mater Brockport.

Spalik joined the Brockport staff in the fall of 2014 after graduating from The College at Brockport Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Teacher Certification. While with the Golden Eagles, Spalik assisted in conducting practice, scrimmages and games in addition to concentrating on the wide receivers.

A three-time All-NJAC selection, Spalik finished his Golden Eagles career as the all-time leader in receptions in a game (12), season (73) and career (220). He also has the school record for career reception yardage racking up 2,585 yards in four seasons.

In addition to his assistant coach duties with the Golden Eagles, Spalik served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach during the 2016 season after serving as the offensive coordinator for the previous two seasons.

In addition to receiving his Bachelor of Science from Brockport, Spalik received his Master of Science Magna Cum Laude in Athletic Administration in January 2017.
