Stevenson Football Camps

Larsen enters his third season on the Stevenson staff in 2017, serving as the team's offensive coordinator.

In 2016, Larsen helped the Mustangs finish with a program-best 9-2 record, the first Middle Atlantic Conference title, and first berth to the NCAA Division III playoffs. The team also finished the season ranked at No. 20 in the country.

Offensively, the Mustangs set or reestablished 16 team offensive records as well as four individual offensive school records. The offense averaged 34.9 points per game and 360.4 yards per game.

As a unit the Mustangs were 21st nationally in completion percentage (64%), 51st in scoring offense (34.9), 52nd in redzone offense scoring (83%), and 52nd in fourth down conversions (53%).

Quarterback Dan Williams was recognized as MAC Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-MAC, and Third Team East All-Region. Williams was nationally ranked 26th in completion percentage (64%), 33rd in passing TDs (26), 38th in passing efficiency (150.9), and 56th in passing yardage (2469).

Wide receiver Preston Addo was named First Team All-MAC while Devin Salisbury was named Second Team All-MAC. Addo was nationally ranked 12th in receiving TDs (12), and Salisbury was 55th in receptions per game (6.5). Offensive tackle Nick Jachera repeated as a Second Team All-MAC selection. Running back Jainard Lambert, tight end/fullback Patrick Najmola and center Travis Soubie were all named Honorable Mention All-MAC.

During the 2015 season, Larsen’s first on staff, the Mustangs went 9-2 overall and won the Centennial-MAC Bowl Game Series over Muhlenberg College. Offensively the Mustangs set 13 team offensive records as well as three individual offensive school records while averaging 25.5 points per game, and 363.7 yards per game.

Tight end Andrew Wysocki and offensive tackle Nick Jachera were named Second Team All-MAC while wide receiver Cortez Taylor and center Travis Soubie were named Honorable Mention All-MAC. 

Prior to Stevenson, Larsen spent three seasons at Rhodes serving as the offensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and quarterbacks coach. In his first two years with the Lynx, he served as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach.

During the 2014 season, Larsen directed a balanced offensive attack that led to the second consecutive 8-2 season at Rhodes and a 2nd place finish in the Southern Athletic Association. In 2014 the Lynx rushed for 15 total touchdowns (among three different rushers), threw for 21 touchdowns which led the SAA (among twelve different receivers), with six offensive starters being recognized on SAA All-Conference Teams.

During the 2013 season, Larsen directed a passing attack that produced several Southern Athletic Association (SAA) leading performances.  Quarterback Blake Box led the SAA in both Touchdown Passes and Passing Efficiency.  Tight End Charles Schneider led the conference in Touchdown Receptions, while Wide Receiver Jonathan Wiener finished second in the SAA in yards per catch and fifth in receiving yards per game.

In 2012, Larsen coached BSN Pre-season All-American Jack Lartigue to a record breaking season which resulted in Lartigue being honored as a First team SAA All-Conference selection.  During the course of that season, Lartigue set school records in almost every receiving category including single game receptions (18 against Trinity University), career receptions and career receiving yardage.  Lartigue went on to represent the South in the Division III Senior Classic All-Star Game as a starting Wide Receiver. The Lynx also had their first winning season in five years.

Previous to Rhodes, Larsen coached at Wabash College (IN) in 2011 where he served as Wide Receivers Coach.  During Larsen’s tenure, the receiving corps accounted for 24 touchdown reception in a campaign that saw Wabash win a conference championship and advance to the Elite Eight of the NCAA national playoffs.  Under Larsen’s tutelage, Wabash receivers Jonathan Horn and Wes Chamblee were voted to the First and Second All-Conference teams respectively; with Chamblee also garnering First Team All-Conference, All-Region and All-American honors as a Return Specialist.

Prior to Wabash, Larsen worked at Indiana University where he spent two seasons on the Hoosiers’ coaching staff.  Larsen served one year as an Offensive Intern in 2009 before being promoted to Offensive Quality Control Assistant in 2010.  Indiana ranked first in the Big Ten Conference and 13th nationally in Total Passing with Larsen working with both the quarterbacks and receivers during the 2010 campaign. In 2010 Larsen was one of 30 young coaches selected to participate in the NCAA Future Football Coaches Academy.

A 2009 graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Literature and Leadership Studies, Larsen was a four year letter winner as a Quarterback for the Stags football team.  Additionally, as a senior Larsen was the sole recipient of the 2009 Dickinson Student-Athlete Award for leadership, academic achievement, sportsmanship and service to the CMS Athletic Department. In 2010 Larsen graduated with his Masters in Athletic Administration from Indiana University.
